SHMRRC Minutes for the Monthly Meeting
Date: March 24, 2026 

The meeting was held at Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, President Jeff Graybill presiding.

Presidents Report:
The business meeting that was postponed from February was held.  A motion to retain the current officers was made and seconded and unanimously approved. 

A vote to retain the current dues of ten dollars a year was passed unanimously.  Dues were collected and will be included in the April 28th Treasurer’s Report. 

The next show is scheduled for April 9th through 11th at the Carnegie Library in Carnegie.  Setup will start at 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 9th.  This is a change from our original schedule due to an event in the Lincoln Room. 

The layout display will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th with teardown beginning at 5:00 pm on Saturday or when the last visitor has gone, whichever comes sooner. 

The newly started Carnegie Model Railroad Club will be meeting at 1:30 on Saturday and SHMRRC members are invited to attend to present a brief history of the club and answer any questions afterwards. 


 
Treasurers Report:
The current balance in the treasury is $6,005.11 with $5,394.11 in checking and $610.00 cash on hand.  Dues collected for 2026 will be added for the April meeting. 

 
Program:
Rich Aubel presented the updated smoke generator used in the volcano module and the heating element that makes the smoke.

The next SHMRRC meeting will be at the Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church at 7:00 pm on April 28, 2026
