The meeting was held at Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, President Jeff Graybill presiding.
Presidents Report:
The next show is the Mt. Lebanon Uptown Holiday Market on on Saturday, December 6th from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. Setup will be on Friday, December 5th starting at 12:00 noon and continuing until trains are running. Jeff will confirm with the members that the necessary modules will be available. Final details will be discussed at the November 25th meeting.
We now have the dates for Locomotion Weekend at the Kamin Science Center. The dates for the show are January 17th and 18th, 2026 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on both days. Setup will be on Friday, January 16th starting at 9:00 am. Members should enter at the rear of the building through the security doors and use the elevator beyond the cafeteria.
The NMRA Division 2 Freemo Committee will participate in the Greenberg Train Show in the Monroeville Convention Center on November 1st and 2nd. The SHMRRC will not be participating as a club but any member with a module is welcome to join them. Setup is October 31st starting at 2:00 pm. The show will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
A donation of model railroad magazines and DVD’s were available at the meeting for any member that wanted them.
Treasurers Report:
Dave Bodnar needed to make a purchase with the club credit card, which he refunded, in order to keep it active. The total amount in the treasury is $5,604.11 with $5,394.11 in checking and $510.00 cash on hand.
Program:
There were several followup questions from the Carnegie Library New Railroad Club that were discussed. Rich Aubel will reply to the club with the further information.
Dave Bodnar brought rechargeable 9-volt batteries and a portable air blower.
